Writer Belinda Garcia will be writing the next Tomb Raider game.

Writer Belinda Garcia has just joined the team at Crystal Dynamics as Game Writer and Narrative Designer for the upcoming Tomb Raider video game. Belinda is a talented writer who has previously worked on Call of Duty and Stonefly.

Crystal Dynamics announced a few months ago that they are developing a new Tomb Raider game with the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine. The studio is currently hiring more staff to carry out the new game and achieve its full potential.

Belinda made the following statements on her Twitter account regarding this news:

"I feel so fortunate to be a part of this franchise. Excited, honored - every wonderful feeling. This team is filled with so many talented and wonderful people and I can't believe I get to be one of them."

Embracer Group AB recently acquired the Tomb Raider franchise along with other famous IPs for $300 million.
