Phoebe Waller-Bridge is developing a Tomb Raider series for Amazon Prime Video.
Get ready for a new adaptation of Tomb Raider. Shortly after it was revealed that Phoebe Waller-Bridge had extended her deal with Amazon Prime Video, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the actress and screenwriter is working on a new Tomb Raider-based series for that platform.
Waller-Bridge will have the mission of writing the scripts for the episodes of this project that is in full development process, but for now it is unknown if she will act in that production.
However, Waller-Bridge will serve as a producer on the series, which will also have Ryan Andolina and Amanda Greenblatt serving as executive producers.
At the moment there are no more details about this new Tomb Raider series, but its development will continue to extend Lara Croft's on-screen story, which already includes the films by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, as well as the animated series that is in development for Netflix. All while this arrival of Tomb Raider at Amazon will add to the fact that the publication of the next video game in the saga will be borne by that company.
